I read “Art & Fear” three times. These quotes go together well.
Do not bring people in your life who weigh you down. And trust your instincts … good relationships feel good. They feel right. They don’t hurt. They’re not painful. That’s not just with somebody you want to marry, but it’s with the friends that you choose. It’s with the people you surround yourselves with.
Appreciate the things you have, love the people who are there for you, don’t take anything for granted, but you can still complain and you can still be unhappy with where you are because the sky is not the limit. There’s a goddamn footprint on the moon right now and that’s only because we weren’t satisfied with just a telescope.
